But the most famous character of the Irish actor remains Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders, a cult series whose universe will be an expanse, with a feature film, to find soon on Netflix.
Before discovering the end of the adventures of the leader of Peaky Blinders, Cillian Murphy is already present on the platform in a feature film he produces and for which he is the star. Here are the first images.

Cillian Murphy officially launched his production company, Big Things Film, with his longtime collaborator Alan Moloney. From this collaboration is born his first project as a producer who is the adaptation of the novel Shy de Max Porter, published in 2023, in a feature film entitled Steve.
Located in the hearts of the 90s, the film traces 24 hours decisive from the life of a director of residence for delinquent minors (Steve, embodied by Cillian Murphy)) and his students, in a world that abandoned them.
While he fights to protect the integrity of the establishment and against its imminent closure, Steve finds himself struggling with his own mental health. And he is not the only one to fight. Shy, a disturbed teenager stuck between his past and the future that awaits him, tries to reconcile an inner fragility and a propensity for self -destruction and violence.
Max Porter signs the script while Tim Mielants, a Belgian filmmaker who has already staged episodes of Peaky Blinders and who collaborated with the actor for the film Small Things Like These, realizes.
Netflix unveiled a first trailer for this drama which promises to be overwhelming, both for its intrigue and for the interpretation of Cillian Murphy. The latter faces the young Jay Lycurgo, also the casting of the film Peaky Blinders.
The film “Steve” will be available on October 3 on Netflix.
