“I have no family life”, Julie Ferrier talks about her regret for not having had a child


A writer, a humorist and a journalist. This Sunday, June 22, 2025, France 2 broadcasts a new episode ofA Sunday in the countryside. This week, Frédéric Lopez receives three new guests in her beautiful house in Seine-et-Marne: the actress Julie Ferrier, the journalist Gérard Holtz and the renowned writer David Foenkinos.

Julie Ferrier confides in her false layers

Despite these obstacles, the one that is described as “A tornado” by David Foenkinos remains positive by thinking of his future “Life project for [ses] 60 ans”. For the past twenty years, she has experienced “a love for mayotte ”thanks to his pediatrician uncle on the archipelago. Recalling that there are thousands of children living in the streets on the spot, she says she has discovered the host family profession. “A little bit like Joséphine Baker, I have the plan to be ‘foster family’. This is the first time I say”she concludes, faced with the swayed eyes of the other guests.
