Carlos Alcaraz wins the Queen’s for the second time and won his 5th title in 2025


In the first set, Alcaraz dropped only four points on his service. At 5-5, the Spaniard chained six returns of service, unbalanced his opponent. At 30-30, Alcaraz won on the next two points and succeeded in the station wagon, which launched it towards the gain of the first set (7-5) in 46 minutes.

The second round, 56 minutes long, was also disputed. The Spaniard did not display the same absolute control over his opponent. The first Czech to reach the Queen’s final since Ivan Lendl in 1990, Lehecka won the set with shooting (5/7).

In the last set, Alcaraz continued won his fifth final of the season after those of Rotterdam, Monte-Carlo, Rome and Roland-Garros. This 21st career title allows him to get closer to Jannik Sinner in the ATP classification: Spanish has 9,300 points against 10,430 for Italian. In Wimbledon, Alcaraz will have to defend the 2,000 points of his victory last year, while Sinner had stopped in the quarter -finals against Daniil Medvedev.
