The festival when I think of Fernande begins its new edition Wednesday June 25 at the Théâtre de la Mer in Sète.
Unless you take a boat and put yourself below the sea theater, it will be difficult for some fans to enjoy three of the five evenings offered by the 206 edition of the Festival When I think of Fernande. The musical meeting originally built around text artists that can be “descendants” of Brassens begins this Wednesday, June 25 in the sea walls.
No more space
Indeed, on the entire programming, three evenings display complete. This is the case of Thursday 26 with the presence of Clara Yse and Aliocha Schneider. Ditto the next day for the concerts of Barbara Pavi and Stephan Eicher. Itou on the last day, June 29, for the evening with Thomas Dutronc headlining.
Chamfort -hedid for the opening
Music musicians – or lovers of the site – will therefore have to fall back on the other two still open evenings that promise a lot. To have in the same place, for the opening day of Fernande, on June 25, two artists who marked the history of French music, it does not happen every day. Alain Chamfort and Louis Chedid (father of a whole generation of successful singers) should therefore delight all the ears present.
Tribute to Gainsbourg
And in terms of imprint on the history of French music, Serge Gainsbourg is not the last. Thus the tribute show Les Serge, the Comédie Française sings Gainsbourg, announced on June 28, will travel the spectators in the universe of the man at the head of cabbage.
